Accurate and efficient digital x-ray capability is essential for effective medical diagnosis and treatment. Our state of the art digital x-ray facility is among the most advanced in the field. Electrocardiograms and ultrasounds (both cardiac and abdominal) are also performed. Back To Top
Dentistry: Proper dental care is an important factor in your pets overall health. Our equipment includes dental x-ray, high speed drilling capability, preventative care including sealant and home care kits. Our equipment enables us to provide for all your pet’s dental needs. Back To Top
Surgery: Our surgical suite includes electronic monitoring of blood oxygen content, heart rate, and blood pressure for safety, a heated surgery table to maintain body temperatures during procedures and an anesthesia machine to deliver the safest anesthesia for your pets comfort. Available services range from routine spaying and neutering to more complex soft tissue surgeries and orthopedic repairs. Back To Top
Laboratory: Our laboratory is fully equipped to provide a broad range of diagnostic tests. Computerized results are often available at the appointment.
The following is a list of in house laboratory testing that is available: Intestinal Parasite Screen, Urinalysis, Feline FIV/Leukemia test, heartworm/lyme/ehrlichia/anaplasmosis test, Complete Blood Count, Chemistry Profile, Presurgical screening, skin scraping, Fine Needle Aspirate, Electrolytes, Glucose, Vaginal Smear, Micro examination, Parvo test, CPL test (pancreatitis), and we also have an outside laboratory the we use for specialty test. Pharmacy:
Our pharmacy includes most of the prescriptions your pet might need. A few items may need to be special ordered. We have selected pharmacies that we feel follow federal regulations in prescribing your pet’s medication. We have established a policy to safeguard your pet and to insure that you receive only the correct, quality-assured medication that we have prescribed for your pet.
Federal regulations** require veterinarians to maintain a valid, client-patient relationship in order to prescribe or dispense prescription medications. If you need the medication mailed to your home, we can provide that service as well. If the cost of a medication is a concern, please discuss this with us. Purchasing questionable or substandard medication is not the answer--you are wasting your money and risking your pet's health.
**Title 21, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 201.105, concerning the sale of veterinary prescription drugs contains specific provisions that limit the dispensing of certain drugs intended for use by veterinarians.
